We’re growing and looking for a motivated Pest Control Technician to join our team at Pest X, based in Jasper, AL. If you enjoy solving problems, working independently, and aren’t afraid of crawlspaces or attics, we want to hear from you. Experience is a plus, but we will train the right person.

Job Summary

As a Pest Control Technician, you’ll provide pest management services to residential and commercial customers. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for customer service. You’ll perform inspections, apply treatments, and educate clients on pest prevention—all while representing Pest X with professionalism and integrity.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct inspections to identify pest problems and evaluate infestation levels.
Apply pest control treatments using chemical, mechanical, and exclusion methods.
Customize treatment strategies based on the property and pest type.
Enter service details and notes into a mobile device for record-keeping.
Communicate with clients to explain treatment plans and prevention tips.
Work in crawlspaces, attics, and other confined areas as needed.
Travel daily across Walker, Winston, and Jefferson Counties.

Qualifications

Experience preferred, but not required – we’ll provide full training.
Comfortable working in tight, dirty, or elevated spaces (attics/crawlspaces).
Able to lift 50 lbs or more without assistance.
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record required.
Background in pest control is a plus.
Strong problem-solving and independent work ethic.
Professional, courteous, and dependable.
Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Must be dependable.
